- France, the whole of it, very slowly; crawling about France in a car would be heavenly.
- Italy, again in a car, very slowly, and taking in as much as possible.
- The USA over a period of a year or so, hitting as many states and major cities as possible.
- Northern Ireland and Scotland and Wales, because I've never spent a lot of time in the countries mine is attached to geographically.
- Ireland itself, for a contrast against Northern Ireland.
- The Isle of Man and the Shetland Islands.
- the wrinkles of the face of a lover, worn with time.
