- Chester Cathedral and Gloucester Cathedral: I just LOVE cathedrals, though these two were absolutely stunning. Also to walk where Alan Rickman had walked (Gloucester) was very exciting.
- France: fish markets and fields and fields and cobbled roads with bicycles. oh! and a chateau in this adorable little town that had cellars underneath it, where the Jewish French hid from the Nazis and the black-market merchants hid their stock.
- Prague, CZ: the clock-tower, the bridge, and the concentration camp and ghetto.
- Ripon, UK, and Ripon's Cathedral: The smallest cathedral in the UK, situated in a tiny town in Yorkshire. Very gorgeous.
- Spain: I've no idea whereabouts, but I went to a shoe-making factory, and it was so amazing how they hand-made the shoes, working the leather.

- time is no judge; nothing gets better with "time", but everything gets better with how you judge a situation, how you handle things, and knowing you always will have my loving support.
- having hobbies might seem like a boring venture, but once you find something to do that you love then you'll realise they're well worth their weight in gold.

- in primary i had a 'crush' on this boy called james. he had spent a year in austrilia or something and used to be in the class before i had joined, so he seemed really popular and exotic to me.
- in secondary school there were a few boys i liked. the main ones were jonny and sam, because i liked them for so long. another james, and a robert, but neither went anywhere.

- a philosophy lecturer at my university, who used to be a Buddhist layperson in temples; he has the most interesting life story and personality I've ever known someone who is 'older' than me to have, and my opinion of him will probably - and hopefully - always remain high.
