hyojung is oh my girl's unofficial mom; always enthusiastic, supportive and embarrassing. our "candy leader", for her infectious smile, sweet as candy. hyojung trained under wm for 6 months (as of may 2015) and joined wm in 2014. she trained for 4 years total. she lived in thailand for about six years when she was younger. she has a close relationship with her mom and older sister (93 line); her father died at a young age and she took lots of part time jobs to support her family. once she said she wanted to be a ginseng digger lol... she lived really close to nature as a kid and spent a lot of time with her grandmother.

she loves bread... a lot... and has been learning to compose and write her own music. she created a "miracle song" in one of her vlives, and recently, january 2018, showcased a self composed song, sky (ft. mimi), as part of her graduation from dong-ah institute of the arts (class of 2013). she can play piano as well. she likes hiking and has the most adorable laugh, can't stop doing a flute imitation for her personal talent, and has nothing but love for the members.
