hey it's my uncle's bday c: cool story

so ystd i went to liholiho cus saturday dinner game is always strong haha wut well after being finally seated i was at a table in the corner next to a group of mid 30s asian guys. after i finished eating, the guy beside me tapped my desk and i turned my attention to him. so yea, i really underestimated the degree to which and the frequency of people seeing someone eating alone and thinking it's unusual. he asked me if i was travelling etc why i was eating alone and i told him ya i came to sf to do some work and eat etc from palo alto. he told me it was his friend's bachelor party. some of them know each other for 20 years from high school (they're all around 35 haha) i asked him a few questions about his age group and marriage etc etc back to being 'from palo alto', they asked me of restaurant recs etc then one of the guys noted that ramen was probably better in south bay which then i told them NAW MAN VANCOUVER RAMEN NUMBER 1 RAMEN jk i didn't say that. but i did tell them i was actually from vancouver and how vancouver has really good ramen <3 turns out the guy beside me spent some time outside of ontario...i was not expecting k-w region but YA he worked there for about a year or so? in kitchener / cambridge wow small world. we agreed on how there was nothing to do there he asked if i wanted to join for drinks but i was only 20 so ... that was that ... happy marriage to your friend! (the guy earliest to get married did so at 32, which is not very early. wow at how late people are getting married these days)

oh and then i went to see KITTIES at a cat cafe THEY WERE SO CUTE there was also this shanghainese trio of dad, daughter and son? reminded me of home or something. something about hearing that language. ; u ; stupid cats didn't really like me tho. it's k cus i didn't like them either. pft. JK THEY WERE SO CUTE I LUVED THEM MEOW MEOW MEOW THAT'S I LOVE YOU IN CAT.
