• light good smelling candles and turn down the lights
  • use that fancy dish/stationery/bath bomb/etc that you’ve been saving “for the right time” (hint: now is the right time)
  • put clean sheets and blankets on your bed
  • give yourself five minutes to experience your emotions. dance in your happiness or let out all your tears, no shame allowed.
  • open your curtains (and maybe a window if the weather is good)
  • indulge yourself: a favorite movie, food, book, etc
  • ask a close friend what they love best about you
  • meditate somewhere relaxing for five minutes
  • organize your desk or living space, wherever you spend a lot of time; * it’ll clear your head and make you feel better
  • a cup of tea (or coffee or hot cocoa or whatever you enjoy most)
