• Technically it is a commonwealth.
  • The fact that you don't need a passport is irrelevant, until very recently you did not need a passport to go to Canada or Mexico.
    • Commonwealth is defined as a world organization of autonomous states that are united in allegiance to a central power but are not subordinate to it or to one another.
      • We all know this is a lie, and the only reason Puerto Rico is considered a commonwealth is to fit within the guidelines of the United Nations.
