- when I was younger and my parents would throw parties, we'd play this game where a topic would be chosen (say candy bars), there would be a recorder who would stay in a different room and one by one each player would come tell the recorder an item that fit under the chosen topic (snickers). The recorder would write these in a random list-order. Then the list would be taken back to the large group of players and everyone would take a turn with the list guessing who said what ("I think John said Snickers). If they were right, that person would be out of the game. You could throw people off by guessing someone else said what YOU said.
- I brought this up at Thanksgiving breakfast with my mom and brother this year and mom (or maybe it was Brandon) said that the game was called "The Name Game." Ha. How original.
