Got into my dream agency this year. Dreams aren't all it's cracked up to be. I'll make sure to be careful what I wish for next time. Here are some observations after 2 and a half months.

• I am a messenger - no matter what anyone says.
• Be humble. Everything you need, you'll get from someone else.
• Everyone should like you, and you should show you like everyone. (refer to 2nd lesson)
• Learn to wait. Wait for Clearance from ASC, wait for approval from Client, wait for CE from producers, wait for work from creatives.
• Play both sides of the fence - blame the clients when the production/creatives/traffic is mad, blame the production/clients/traffic when the client is disappointed.
• The only way that creatives/production will like you is if you hate your clients.
• Everyone is depending on you while you're waiting for everyone to finish.
• You have no real power.
• Learn to balance the art of being persistent without being annoying.
• Every detail counts. Do not exclude anything. Cover your ass.
• Diplomacy is a virtue.
