• Last week I was driving home from work and, while going around a tightly curving portion of highway, was trapped between a large truck and a van whose back door read "Caution: Show Dogs." Passing the show dog van, I noticed that the van had a picture of a large, glorified dog, with the name "Labradale" painted underneath.
  • For work, I spoke with "Turbo Paul," reformed art thief and dealer turned art recovery blogger. He has a thick British accent and named his son after Oliver Twist. Turbo Paul was on the show today and when asked how he got into the art crime world replied, "Well when I was a small boy, thieves lifted me through windows. Then I got too large to fit through windows."
  • Kelly Blanchard, president of Ibis Reproductive Health non-profit, wrote a NYT op-ed called "Let the Pill Go Free," explaining why the Pill should be sold to women over the counter. It finally feels like this idea that has been festering in my mind for the past year could go somewhere.
