- Day 1 of NPR internship- FANTASTIC. But really, genuinely, wholeheartedly I am thrilled. Brief synopsis: Today included a segment on young farmers and a documentary called The Greenhorns (http://www.thegreenhorns.net/). I participated in my first "Idea meeting," and, if all goes well, 2-3 my ideas will be on air next week. Everyone eats lunch together at a round table.
- Boots that Linda refers to as "Your Grandmother's Boots" and John calls "Paratrooper boots" came in the mail today. I can't wait to crunch orange leaves in these boots.

- The air smells clean. Not to sound like a spokesperson for a "Come to New Hampshire, What're you waiting for?" campaign (a la California's Terminator) but really, breathing here feels like hugging someone with freshly shampooed hair.
Maybe this collection of lists is going in a different direction than I intended, I wanted to avoid the personal. But, I am grinning.
