homestuck is unfortunately a primary special interest of mine, but i wanted to share some details about how i feel regarding it.

• i have read both the epilogues and beyond canon
  • while i think it's "fascinating" in concept and execution, i don't catch up on it. it isn't something i enjoy nor is it something i want to engage with.
  • i don't hold it against anyone who enjoys it, i'd just prefer not to be pressured into enjoying it.
• roxy lalonde is my number one
  • she is my favorite, and i would defend her with my life.
  • for the previous point, i consider beyond canon and original material roxy to be separate from one another. i don't dislike him, so don't assume i do.
• i don't typically mind interacting with fans of it. i'm just wary of most fans due to past experiences, and just the general community i've seen online while lurking in public spaces
  • on this note, get far, far away from me if you romanticize incest or anything under that umbrella. i'm not a very big ship person in general but that shit grosses me out.

i would consider these "secondary" special interests, but here are a few more things that i love more than anything in the world.

• philosophy
  • metaphysics, and the study of it.
  • epistemology, and the study of it.
• cats & aquatic creatures
  • i have a little calico girl named rosie.
  • i love her to bits. this is her from when i adopted her.

my special interests are often personal and very important to me. if you don't like them i could care less. you're entirely free to dislike them, but we're more likely to get along if you do.
