basically a plot rewrite of the basic among us.

fourteen crewmates are on board the skeld spacecraft, exploring deep space in a search for extraterrestrial life. before this mission, none of them had ever met each other, but that isn’t much of a problem. the real problem is that, according to hq, one of them is not a crewmate at all, but a parasitic imposter that has hijacked the body of one of the crewmates and is planning to sabotage their mission. the creature is armed and ready to kill and consume all of the innocents on board — and no one knows who it is.

going back to earth isn’t an option, lest they release the imposter unto the world. so, until they figure out who onboard the ship is out for their blood, they’re stranded together in the cosmos.

as they fear for their lives and wonder who it will be that will make it out alive, the crewmates try their best to get to know each other to ease their minds, and end up building friendships that will transcend even death.
