i'm actually trying to move to portland next year so Yuh Know but yeah. my main criteria for where i want to live is "do they have public transit/bike friendly infrastructure" since i don't have a driver's license or car LOL. vancouver canada & toronto seem very nice but unfortunately i am not a canuck so it would be way too difficult to move there since i don't have a path to citizenship. chicago & nyc have much better public transit than portland but are also way more expensive. a bunch of my extended family also lives on the west coast and i'd like to be able to take a greyhound or something to visit them whenever.
