- the lady at the bacc store letting me borrow an umbrella even though i warned her i might not be able to return it at all because i was flying back the next day and might not return to siam....i feel so indebted and i'm thankful i was able to return it to her and leave a small note of appreciation

- woke up at 4.30am on my last day to hike up xiangshan for #that view and it was so worth it. taipei 101 in daylight, the midautumn moon with purple and pink skies at 5.30am. befriended a fellow hiker from the states who was on her first solo trip at 40 (she looks AMAZING for her age wow), chatted a little and she offered me a sip from her little champagne bottle that she brought after i offered her chocobbang. always lovely encounters with strangers
