- The speciality food shops where one can buy just the right quantity of food and it's beautifully fresh! (I think I found only one supermarket when i was there, which was also different to what I'm used to and rather amused me)
- Montmartre (the gorgeous alleyways, the interesting little shops, the views from the hills, the street markets, the art, even the pushy street-sellers, the seedy sex-shop street and the cliche Moulin Rouge)
- Amelie Poulin!
- The chocolateries!
- The Eiffel Tower (even if it is cliche, I still think it's a beautiful structure, especially when it's lit up)
- The Champs-Elysees with all the lovely trees
- The crazy drivers and the higgledy-piggledy way they park (which is technically against the law here), which would annoy me if I was one of them but amused me greatly as a tourist
- Crepes!
- Pain au Chocolat or croissants for breakfast
- The food in general :)
- The Arc de Triomphe in the middle of the giant round-about
- The Sacre-Coeur
- Travelling on the Metro (even though it's a bit dingy, there is a wonderful nostalgic feeling to it) and overhearing conversations in about 20 different languages
- The museums and art!!
- The houses with the pretty window boxes
