- starting without a plot can still get me to 50k (and beyond)...
- ...but I shouldn't expect to be anywhere near done with the story once I reach that number
- writing before 6pm is hard, writing after midnight is easy
- getting my characters to act as I want them to act is nearly impossible, sooner or later they inevitably develop a will of their own
