most of those were not indoor cats, but they came to our house every single day, so we adopted them, gave them food and shelter. the majority of them were sadly killed by other people which is disgusting and karma will get them back one day.
- stella and tigro were my first cats; a family friend gave them to my dad and he surprised me and mom on a summer day. I remember them being so small and scared, they didn't want to be picked up and we thought that they'd never warm up to us but later on they became part of the family.
- stella had a long black and white fur that would change color in the summer and become brown, she was beautiful. We've had her for years but she sadly disappeared.
- briciola was the sweetest cat we've ever had. until this day, my grandma would always talk about how intelligent and sweet briciola was, she loved her so much ; Unfortunately she was run over. my grandparents found her on the road and briciola was literally half dead but she was so strong that she survived for some months until she was too sick to get better even after surgeries and medications. We've never had another cat like that, she was totally unique.
- d'artagnan wasn't our cat but he'd always come to our house to find some food; After a long time he started to want to be petted and we were really close to 'adopting' him but he was poisoned by some fucker that lived on our same street. He came to us 'crying' and we gave him some milk and petted him until we understood that nothing could have been done...we cried for days.
- about leo i only remember how much he loved to nibble on my fingers and how majestic he was when he climbed on trees looking like simba thanks to his long fur.
- perla was stella's daughter and she wasn't a cat that loved to be petted or that was extremely affectionate, she was a really indipendent cat. She lived with us for some years and then after giving birth to luna she disappeared too.
- luna was lovely but at the same time she was really cautious and independent like her mom, even though she hadn't grown up with her. We've had her since 2015 but she sadly disappeared. I miss her evey single day.
- i want to take some time to talk about max because we sadly lost him some months ago(2020)after so many years of caring about him. He was beautiful once, but he was always ready to fight with other cats, and so he got 'uglier' in the long run and started sporting scars all over his body and face. We left our house for some time and when we got back he had lost an eye, then he started getting sicker and sicker but every time we were told that he was leaving us he'd get stronger and come back as nothing ever happened. We legit thought he was invincible and immortal, i know, funny right? But sadly he came home to die one day and even though we knew he was very old we still weren't prepared for it. I'll miss you max, i'm sorry i didn't pet you enough.
