• They were not always rich people, y'know;
  • Yes, they're all flamingos. No, not all alike. At least six species are in evidence;
  • They used to resist structure modifications on breeding, becoming very uncomfortable with the idea of interacting with another species;
  • Grebes have always been an exception to this;
  • They and the Miyagi (also a bunch of flamingos) have kept up united by strong ties through the years;
  • According to the family History book, the Sakurai were not always "Sakurai" neither came from Japanese territory. They once carried a Chinese name and, yes, came from China approximately in the Qing Dynasty, emerging stronger out of the crisis as many started to make porcelain dishes and household china. There are actual pages of the olden family records which proves the authenticity of this information;
  • Since then - or since the actual discovery per se, - they begun to uphold and nurture the tradition of porcelain's gifting for many years;
  • Legend says that there had been once a black flamingo called Huǒ Hēi Sè. A mediocre, exotic and penniless young fellow who fell in love with the Emperor's concubine. He wouldn't steal her. He couldn't and would never do such a thing since it needed to be reciprocated, otherwise he could easily end up dead, as well as her. Thereupon he settled his life to work on the Palace and discovered her passion for plums. One day, he planted a tree in the garden after asking for her approval. She immediately fell in love with him at that time, but not because of his doing. Instead, she became infatuated with his beauty as had never been once a so dark figure alive. Unable to resist and yielding to his charms, the adultery was then committed and they loved each other deeply for quite some time until the pregnancy and the full fruit stemming process. The Emperor eventually found out though did not kill the little birds, pink as cherry flowers. As for Huǒ Hēi Sè to which he didn't want killing either, it was decided that the chambers were to be part of the events for him. He was too beautiful to be killed, he thought. Huǒ was locked down forever then. And never saw her love ever again. Some say he immediately died from disease. Others tell he felt the moment she died and perished from it. It's been told that the plums in that garden and in all China became darker and darker from that point of History. About their sons? They say they were the first exiled Sakurai to work on ceramic porcelain and when the got to Japan, they decided to change the legend of plums by sakura tree. Thus, the Sakurai had been settled;
  • Their hair colors (Sakurai and Miyagi) also vary;
