  • Edo (or Tokugawa) period informations (江戸時代):
    • Their title of nobility was not hereditary. It was the crows who originally possessed the right (and held sway over the ravens). Only shortly after his death, Samurai Shoji Yamiya was given a nonhereditary peerage though, and the ravens were finally acknowledged starting at the Edo Period;
    • However, Shoji left no children;
    • His older brother Shoichi, who also did not survive the war, would raised up seed unto his brother, but Shoji did not marry;
    • So his own son ended up earning legal rights and territory, becoming a powerful - now just as much powerful as the crows - daimyō (大名) later on;
    • The ravens are forever thankful to the great Azai Kansuke and his war, family support whose ties have been and are still kept at substantial level;
  • Shōwa period informations (昭和時代):
    • Greatly affected by Youta's miscarriage both ravens and crows became even more remote and cold toward each other, anchoring the very retrograde idea that the family were, indeed, meant to be separate. Really disturbed, no one ever considered otherwise (aside Youta's beloved brother whose plans to unite the family were shattered);
    • The ravens immediately gathered their masses then, performing a deliberative assembly, more like a committee to discuss developments and vote for a new patriarch;
    • It has been decided, for the good of their power, control and managing, that now a Pentarchy would establish;
    • Ko's been settled as the Main Head, being only 29 y/o at the time along with more three representatives: a lawmaker, a sacred man of religious archetypal and a man/head servant (just a butler title but likewise essential);
    • The idea came about due to the [political and] ecclesiastical prominence as the ravens are consistently theological fellows, helped by the Dutch Catholicism/Protestantism history that mixed their cultures throughout;
    • A perfect decentralized planning. The Main Head would have to resort to his both arms before making any significant decision;
  • Overall informations:
    • Their plumage/feathers are characteristically black, half grey or all grey. There are purple-shaded features sometimes. Albinos may appear one time or another too;
    • Their eyes vary between full black or dark brown. Occasionally, they are blue, or white, but mainly blue, there is just an unlimited and unknown variety of blue shades.
