Cold enters through your feet, and cold creates cramps - keep your feet warm
If your period cramps are bad, try:
- soaking your feet in warm water every night before bed
- drinking bone broths
- keeping your uterus warm (heat pads, cloth bands, keeping your feet warm)
- avoiding cold foods (salads, ice drinks, ice cream)
- drinking warming teas
- eating iron-replenishing foods (meat, certain soups, dark colored foods typically signify high iron)
- eat a warm, small nutritious breakfast (congee, hot porridge)
- get enough movement to have a very slight sweat and pant (that's it!)
- keep stress down (deep breaths)
- prioritize sleep (sleep earlier, keep electronics away from bedtime)
