- Be kind, to yourself, but not just to yourself. Be open to people, be considerate, talk softer, learn how to phrase things better. Learn how to be a better conversationalist. Reach out more, but do it well. Always assume the best in people, and always be aware of what the other person might be feeling. Be willing to be inconvenienced for the people you love. You can do this!!
- Schedule your time better. Leave space in your life to breathe and recharge. Keep your hobbies, but only the kind that truly makes you happy (NOT binge-watching, for example).
- Keep better track of your goals and work towards them. Don't expect too much all at once, make small, accomplishable steps.
- Keep your curiosity alive, don't make yourself do assignments simply to get the grade. Apply your knowledge in every area of your life that you can. Think outside the box. Live life creatively, know how to step outside the commonly trodden path. Stick with people who know what matters in life.
- Never underestimate people you are working against/for/under, and never overestimate people you depend on.
- Be thankful. God has given you a lot, and you should make good use of his blessings. Nothing you have came to you by itself or just because of you. Thank the people in your life who helped you. Give credit where it's due. Never become overconfident or proud or boastful or insensitive.
- In relationships, learn to shelve your agenda. Be willing to put aside your own wants, concerns, curiosity, defensiveness, or urge to correct for someone else. Be there for them, listen to their side of the argument, and help them feel validated when they're in a crisis. Then after, and only after!, you can unshelve your agenda and share your side. Say "I'm here, what do you need?" instead of "what's going on" or "what have you done" in a crisis.
