  • ^Two REALLY good tutorials for curly/natural/mixed hair c:
  • Washing your hair with baking soda makes it really fresh and nice and clean. You can use a cup of water and maybe a teaspoon or so of baking soda SUPPOSEDLY instead of shampoo but I had to use a bit of shampoo along with it (key word: a bit) just so it could actually even spread throughout my hair.
  • mentioned in 1 of the videos before but it seems to help if you put in product when it's sopping wet? maybe it's only for some hair types though, so experiment and find out.
  • rinse your mouth with salt water if you have any cuts in your mouth or just want it to be a bit fresher.
  • like i said before, heat isn't good for your hair but if you want to get it to dry faster some blow dryers have cool settings. this is especially good if you're using a diffuser: it does the trick, dries your hair nicely and doesn't leave any damage.
