  • ^Two REALLY good tutorials for curly/natural/mixed hair c:
  • Washing your hair with baking soda makes it really fresh and nice and clean. You can use a cup of water and maybe a teaspoon or so of baking soda SUPPOSEDLY instead of shampoo but I had to use a bit of shampoo along with it (key word: a bit) just so it could actually even spread throughout my hair.
  • mentioned in 1 of the videos before but it seems to help if you put in product when it's sopping wet? maybe it's only for some hair types though, so experiment and find out.
  • rinse your mouth with salt water if you have any cuts in your mouth or just want it to be a bit fresher.
  • like i said before, heat isn't good for y...

Get that gunk off your sole!

  • Use a face wash cloth! These are super helpful cause since you wipe your body and the land down under with your regular towel, you don’t want to contaminate your pretty face! (Even if you just showered). Make sure to change it/wash it regularly.
  • Speaking of showering! Let the hot water run, let the steam fog the glass- it’s good for your pores! Heat makes them open up and get all that gross acne-forming bacteria out
  • But don’t wash your hair with hot water! Cold water is best. Even if it’s cold out, try not to go hotter than lukewarm for your hair, OK?
  • If you’re feeling that pain under your skin, chances are you’re developing an underground pimple!!! Also referred to as cystic acne, these are the worst, worst,...

  • aloe Vera is a wonder product. I'll find a list of stuff you can do with it but for now all I can remember is that it makes your eyelashes nicer! Just put a wee bit of aloe Vera gel on your lashes and leff it. I've only ever done it once but if you do it every now and then it will make them healthier.
  • dry your hair with an old tshirt and not a towel because towel drying introduces more frizz
  • experiment with a lot of hair products.. although many products say best results when used with other products from that line if you mix it up and find a combination that works for you, you're good to go.
  • HAIR MASKS ARE NICE.......... you can make them at home if you want but the store bought ones are simple and work pretty well. Read the instructions on the back if they're like keep in your hair for X minu...

  • A Trunk to keep all your goodies (ie. extra toiletries and cleaning supplies and so on)
  • Mini fridge (different schools allow different sizes but unless you plan to cook for a family of five you don't need that big of a fridge)
  • A microwave (see above note)
  • A Keurig or coffee maker thingy (most schools don't allow heating elements, ie hot plates, kettles etc)
  • A handheld clothes steamer (because irons and ironboards are cumbersome)
  • Utensils

-Saucers, Bowls and Plates -Plastic Cups and Mugs - Forks, Knives and Spoons

  • About 3 sets of towels (sets including bath towels, face towels and rags)
  • Bedding!!! (ie. pillows, sheet sets [or fitted sheets alone because the little ove...

Like most teenage girls who get bouts of breakouts, whether or not I touch or pick at them, I have acne scars. Now, this can all be easily solved with a bit of BB cream or foundation, but why do that when you want a flawless complexion? Here are some things you can do to banish them for good:

  • Use lemon juice! I usually leave it overnight without diluting it since my skin isn't sensitive, but it's best to just put it on the scar itself and leave it for 10-20 minutes up to half an hour and then rinsing it off. If your skin is sensitive, it's recommended that you dilute the lemon juice first. Keep in mind though that this process takes a lot longer because it is organic, and you have to be committed to see results!
  • Apple Cider Vinegar apparently works wonders on your skin. It's best to buy an org...
