• feeling like we run the place
• having the same classes with the same people
• times between classes
• lunch breaks when we loiter around school and in the hallways
• stupid pranks & jokes we do and make
• when we do stupid things (human stacking, running around like idiots, planking, watching boys humping everything, and just being silly in general)
• truth or dare/spin the bottle
• being able to squeeze in reading times between classes
• lockers
• that feeling when it feels as though you "own" a lunch area/table
• our SPA classes
• breaking the school dress code
• staying in school after school hours
• the school talent show (just the dancing though, sometimes singing & teachers' performances)
• having time to do everything
• everything is just slow and chill
• getting into trouble
• notes between friends/using phones/scribbling on school property
• schedules & routines
• getting away with doing practically nothing
• how our teachers seem more like our friends
• skipping classes to do stupid things
• eating in class (tuesdays when everyone brings snacks during form 1 & 2, and when cheekin was our supplier)
• group projects that we always never end up doing and having to improvise doing presentations which always end up oddly hilarious and amusing
• sour candies to stay awake
• soft toys & pillows in class
• playing sports
• just talking about everything and anything. the silences in between. how we just know each other somehow.
• the community & how tight knit we all felt
• singing and dancing
• being able to skip school without any consequences
• you're never really alone there
• class parties
• culinary class & competitions
• sports (basketball in the rain, netball & skipping swimming classes)
• lab works
• using the computers during/between classes and pissing the teachers off deliberately
• learning about a variety of things (despite them not being in the syllabus because the syllabus sucked)
• paramount championship
• books clubs
• how we keep ourselves busy with nothing but it felt like everything
• the competition
• the music/game/study/book/movie dates
• making lists & doodling in class

but when it comes down to it, i don't miss high school at all
