• first best friend: the first one i remember was named ben, back in 1995. apparently there was an andrea before that, in like 1993 or something.
• first car: 98 dodge neon. i got it the summer after my junior year, so 2007.
• first career aspiration: doctor, from about age four until i realized that vomit is icky.
• first cd bought: autobiography - ashlee simpson, 2004. (it was the first one i bought for myself, not the first cd i actually owned.)
• first celeb crush: zac hanson, 1998 or so.
• first celebrity met: kevin truckenmiller from quietdrive. i was so nervous, but he was really cool. that was in 2007.
• first collection: stamps, for practically all of elementary school. i think it started as part of a girl scout badge.
• first concert: hanson, either 1998 or 1999. my mom tells me it was at summerfest, but i'm not so sure, since i remember telling the kids at school about it. it may just be my faulty memory, though.
• first creeper incident: halloween 2008. a guy i'd only met once before asked if he could sneak into my room and sleep with me. (visitors aren't allowed during halloween weekend because things get so crazy as it is.)
• first date: junior prom, 2007.

• first horror movie: chucky, way too early on in my life.

• first kiss: jon. we'd been dating for about a month and i was beginning to think that he wasn't ever going to kiss me. it was the night after we got back to the dorm after winter break and his roommate hadn't moved back in yet. we'd spent the whole night cuddling, and when we woke up in the morning, he kissed me. and then apologized. it was 2009.
• first magazine i subscribed to myself: blender, 2007.
• first musical instrument: piano, 1997-ish.
• first nickname: sare bear, as far back as i can remember.
• first overseas vacation: peru, 2010.
• first period: 7th grade, so 2002.
• first pet: jack the fish, 1998.
• first prom dress: dark pink halter with a diamond pendant, 2007.
• first real job: rheta's, 2008.
• first real sleepover: sam's house, 2001.

• first screen name: hamsterlover2004 (on msn), back in, obviously, 2004. (i had plenty of email addresses before that, but my mom didn't let me on messenger until then.)
• first sport: t-ball, 1994-ish.
• first tech crew position: props, sophomore year (2006).
• first ticket: 2008, for parking without a boat, of all things.
• first time being called beautiful: surprisingly, also on halloween 2008. i was waiting outside my dorm for some friends to arrive and this extraordinarily intoxicated man (extraordinarily good-looking, too) threw his arms around me, told me i was beautiful and he was going to take me home, was discouraged by my good buddy henry, and stumbled away.
• first time being rejected: zach (not a nice guy, i found out), early 2008.
• first time dyeing my hair: junior year. i dyed it this shade of dark brown with a hint of maroon in it. the color looked better on the box and washed out way too quickly.
• first time in the principal's office: 4th grade; my "friend" told the teacher that i called another girl a lesbian. i didn't. 1999.

• first time voting: 2008, for obama.
• first vacation: maine, 1998.
