mark minhyung lee is the only child of a wealthy and powerful couple, though the exact nature of his parents' work is unknown.
he is a sophomore majoring in mathematics. he did his first year as a high school senior (don't ask him how or why; parents' orders).
his parents are also the reason why he is a member of xi kappa xi and honors society, but he joined the book club of his own accord.
his parents dictate much of his future but do not monitor his activities. he doesn't mind this because his parents are usually away on a business trip and, hence, has no other way to feel "connected" with them.
he doesn't like to talk about his family mainly because he doesn't actually have anything to say about it.

lee naeun : mark's childhood best friend and partner-in-everything. their parents are also close friends. as a toddler, mark would be dropped off and left at her home whenever his parents are away on a business trip. they are incredibly protective of another, playful though they may be.
johnny, eunwoo, taehyung : mark's roommates.
donghee : a fellow mathlete and mark's study buddy. they share the same applied stats class.
rosie : mark's secret supporter. their relationship was rocky at first due to the rivalry they inherited from their parents. however, as time passed, they grew tired of the competition and decided to be each other's cheerleader when their parents aren't looking (which is most of the time anyway).
