- live in the country, near the woods
- eat fruit and fresh-made bread for breakfast
- crochet lace covers for all my pillows
- own a red cloak
- have at least one room covered in old-fashioned floral wallpaper
- plant a garden, and grow my own food
- collect a library of wonderful books with beautiful pictures
- paint murals on my walls
- hang tapestried curtains somewhere in my house, and probably not over a window
- go for daily walks and picnics in the forest
- wear lockets and pocket watches and charming antique jewelry
- sew a star quilt for my first born child
- hang photos of nature and my favorite paintings on the walls
- tromp around in floral rainboots
- make or thrift most of my belongings
- travel to exotic lands
- grow red and white roses around my door, and windowboxes full of flowers
- keep a rabbit or a songbird as a pet
- have a windowseat to curl up in
- collect plants and nuts and press flowers and keep them in a field journal
- take afternoon tea every day
- grow my hair long and wear it in braids, or loose and wavy
- never wake up to an alarm clock again
