• she slowly starts adopting his mannerisms. wearin his clothes, sleepin in his bed, drivin his car.

• murray was right; russians in hawkins, workin on super soldiers or something. infused with elements of upside down beasties like antag of no shade was
• somehow russians catch wind of and capture billy; perform bad experiements on him, like breaking his bones to see how fast they heal, and even cuttin off some fingers to see if they regen
• basically billys in constant pain, the crew has to find him, russians constnatnly tryin to provoke a transformation

• billy didnt die during s3! yay! comes into the video store late one night, like 5 min before close and steves only one workin late shift

• proceeds to explain how his dad complained about it (like it waas billys fault), how it freaked out his stepmom, and refund
• steves still not sure what 'something' is so they pop it into vcr and see some real fucky shit
• two of them team up to investigate it bc for as strange as it is steve thinks he recognizes some landmarks in the really fucky shit on the video
• goes through the store tryina find other videos that mighta been tampered with; find maybe like, one or two more
• same deal: movie is fine up until a random point where the video just cuts to someones splice of a reaaaaaaaally strange thing
• road trips and a general story of forgiveness with underlying themes of romance i guess lol

• jonathan wants to make doc about wills disappearance; been gone for 2 years and starts it on the anni of his gone-ness
• recruits steve and nancy to help; steve brings billy? idk why yet but jonny very against it
• eleven is a changeling sent to replace will
• billy backstory: his mom abducted by fae when he was a babby. there were like a cluster of faeries chilling in her garden and neil tore it up so they were gonna take infant billy as recompense but she trades herself for him BuT sOmEhOw He ReMeMbErS eVeRyThInG aBoUt HeR sAcRiFiCe
• he is surprisingly very knowledgabel about faeries or whatever
• hc: billys mid-name is rowan
• they go through the woods, follow jonny in, but quickly realize jonnys coming unhinged. billy calls him out on it, big fight amongst everyone
• maybe jonny been offering up blood or body parts to appease fae to get willy back
• they eventually come across giiiiiiiiiant faerie circle; jonny and nancy camp inside it, but billy is VERY ADAMANT AGAINST IT and steve and he camp outside of ring
• in morning jonny and nancy is gone

• nancy workin for school paper, or mag or somethin, has a creative writing section shes put in charge of bc fuckin NO ONE submits for it so no work, no chance of gettin her name out there sorta
• she really pulls for it tho, gets a few crappy submissions from friends and maybe one from jonathan
• THEN SOMEONE.... starts submitting mystery poems and theyRE FUCKIN GOOD SHIT
• slowly grows super popular with the paper, nancy becomes curious as to whose writing them bc, as steves former lover, she comes to recognze that theyre about him
• tries to go investigative with it, but submissions are never named or titled
• goes to school paper head, he gives her permission to investigate bc gottdamn if they arent popular and an interview with the poet would be GOLDEN EGGS BABES
• she tries to tell steve the poems are about him and hes like, well, i mean, im not really into poetry but thats nice ig uess?
• anyway she eventually sets up a sting operation and WHOM SHOULD SHE CATCH SLIDING THE NEXT POEM IN UNDER THE DOOR TO THE SCHOOL NEWSROOM.....
• billy gets fUCKIN MAD but cant really deny anything; caught in the act, doesnt really have a good alibi against it
• she gets weird like, i thought u hated steve?? u tried to kill him????? and hes like THEYRE NOT ABOUT STEVE ok fine maybe they are whatever
• idk what happens after that lool
