went into this not knowing what to expect and surprisingly i really loved this book! a historical fiction talking about the state of women in 1885. how scary it was being a woman with an opinion or being a little more sensitive than the people, especially men, around you can tolerate. makes me think a lot of how difficult it is to be a woman these days but i can't image how it was then. some moments in this book were truly chilling, with a little ...
