  • Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown (And Don't Come Back!) (this movie, I think, is the reason why I was a bit of a Francophile. It definitely explains why I wanted to travel to France when I was little.)
  • A Little Princess (the 1995 version. GAH. Such a gorgeous movie.)
  • Race For Your Life, Charlie Brown (this one, along with Salute Your Shorts, made me want to go to summer camp as a kid)
  • Little Giants (I liked this one because I had a crush on Devon Sawa way back when.)
  • Casper (see above.)
  • Clueless (my mom got me to watch this with her on HBO. She doesn't remember this now, of course, but it's her fault I was obsessed with it for a few years.)
  • Suzie Q (a Disney Channel movie that had Amy Jo Johnson--the original Pink Power Ranger--as the ghost of this girl from the '50s who's in the '90s to solve unfinished business. I loved the pink poofy prom dress she shredded up.)
  • Teen Witch (I love the soundtrack. SO CHEESY FUN.)
  • Cinderella (Disney version. It's one of the first Disney movies I remember seeing.)
  • The Jungle Book (animated Disney version. My brother and I used to quote the Beatles-esque vultures all the time.)
  • Toy Story (...best computer animated movie ever. The end.)
  • The Mighty Ducks trilogy (there was a time during which I only wanted to play hockey because of these movies. I also had a big crush on Josh Jackson that led me to watch Dawson's Creek.)
  • My Girl 2 (I had a big crush on Nick.)
  • The Baby-Sitters Club (it wasn't a huge favorite, but I liked it because I liked the series.)
  • The Land Before Time (the squillion sequels they did? So wrong.)
  • Lady and the Tramp (I remember watching either this or Cinderella after I fell in the video store parking lot and scraped my knees, so I had big bandages on both knees...)
  • The Big Green (oh, the '90s and sports movies.)
  • Freaky Friday (the made-for-TV version with Shelley Long as the mom and Gaby Hoffman as the daughter. I saw the original with Jodie Foster in second grade.)
  • The Sandlot (it was a favorite for a while, and then my brother made me hate it for a few years because he went through a phase where he would watch it EVERY DAY.)
  • Tom and Huck (it had Jonathan Taylor Thomas and Brad Renfro in it. I had mad crushes on both of them, of course I loved it.)
