- getting a tiny glimpse of a very good grade before actually receiving an exam
- hearing back from the universities where I've applied
- or rather, hear from Durham whenever I inquire about what to do about my offer. Just seeing the name in my email makes me feel all giddy.
- planning trips abroad that are soon to happen instead of being merely imaginary
- finding the mailman at the door
- getting off an airplane
- trying to find my family in the crowds whenever I come back home from somewhere
- getting past a cliffhanger in a book
- reaching the crescendo of a piece of music, especially if it's a violin piece
- creating a piece of art and seeing it's going along the way I saw it in my head, and adding the last details on ink
- getting ahold of food that I had been craving for very long and giving the first bite
- finding a book I've been searching forever (more if it's out of the blue)
- the expressions of people on the moment they see the gifts I've made for them
- finding a piece of art in a museum that I'd b been dreaming of seeing in person
- entering a shop that looks like it has really interesting things (or cute things!)
- the letter-making process, all from starting with "Dear...", to writing the person's address, to sealing the letter and adding the final stickers that I'd been saving for so long specifically for the person to whom I'm sending the letter.
- the first scene of a movie
- trying a food or drink for the first time
- travelling and discovering places, not knowing which of many routes to take
