Places I've worked, rated on a scale of 1-10

  • Currently: Kent Library (8) I think libraries are my niche. The girls all like books and cats & coffee & are very nice. The work is redundent, but not hard.
  • Genevieve Java (7) Adorable little place-awesome coffee drinks & home-made icecream (CAKE BATTER & CHERRY BORDEUX!!!) Only dislikes are that is was kinda lonely & it could be overwhelming when 5 billion came in at once & I had to take all their orders by myself.
  • The Tin Roof Cafe & Wine Bar (9.42)- My bosses were awesome. The pay was well. The food was amazing. The picked me to work there & taught me how to be a barista & I loved everyone of my co-workers.
  • The Southern Hotel (3)- The place was absolutely beautiful, & I got to work with my best friend. One the downside, the work was gross, the pay was AWFUL (4.65), & the boss was quite scary (bless her soul).
  • MG's (2.5)- I think being initiated into the workforce with a really unpleasent fast food job atmosphere really makes you appreciate any other job you ever have afterwards. So for that, thanks MG's. But seriously, it had it's fun times. Especially when my co-workers found out I was a vegetarian & liked to kid around with me by locking me in the freezer with dead chicken parts. Actually, that was terrifying. But otherwise, yeah, it was fun.
  • Volunteer-hospital (8.5) It was volunteering, so the best part was that you left feeling really indescribable, as cliche as that sounds. It was just nice to be there for people with no selfish motives, just to help, because people saw that & loved it.
