What do you do when your teacher doesn't know how to teach !? OR even understand everything that they're meant to teach you! omg what is life D':

Well, first up I would invest in a good textbook, because if your source of knowledge isn’t decent (your teacher), you may as well get the next best thing! Next I would list all the topics that I’m unsure of/felt hadn’t been taught well, and start working through the textbook answering all the questions in there on those subjects. After this I would go to the exam board website and get all the info I could that teachers would usually provide for you; past papers, mark schemes, examiners reports and general info about what the course entails. I’d probably have a good read of that, make use of the Internet A LOT in finding free resources, and basically pretend I’m a study-from-home student! As for getting your work marked and looking at other marked work you could try the site ‘Marked by Teachers’ and for a strong student community (other than studyblr) use 'The Student Room’ But above all, do not panic. Always hold one phrase dear to you when unfortunate things like this happen- 'mind over matter’
