I won't let someone slowly make me die inside until I'm a quiet shadow of who I really am, who I'm meant to be. It won't happen again.
Naive or not, I believe there's someone out there, someone I can drag on adventures, have 5 hr conversations with, bake cookies for, know what they're thinking,say I love you to every day, and think they look incredibly good looking first thing in the morning. Plato said that one soul is present in 2 bodies and you just have to find that 2nd body.
I'm just worried about whether I'll be brave enough to open up again. I almost let so much of myself shrivel up and die, let myself be hurt and used...I don't know if I want to go searching for that other person.
