Places I really, really want to visit, but will never be able to due to their fictional nature. Doesn't stop me from dreaming.

• Hobbiton
  • Peaceful and idyllic landscapes, charming little hobbit holes. Good food and long walks. If possible, I would also like to be a hobbit, but I'll settle for a vacation there if that's all I can get.
• Hogwarts
  • Obviously I'm too old to be a student, and obviously I don't care at all. Again, I would like to be a witch, but just visiting would be enough for me. Smaller day trips are a must, with possible locations being: Hogsmeade, Diagon Alley, The Ministry of Magic and St Mungos.
• Lyra's Oxford
  • I want a daemon. And yeah, the whole alternate universe thing would be pretty fun too.
• that house in My Neighbor Totoro
  • Possibly number one on my list, for reasons passing explaining. It is entirely possible that this movie has tapped into some desire to be five again, and that the world of Totoro represents this. Doesn't stop the place from being absolutely gorgeous.
