- I'm not all that special. There are plenty of people out there that are just as interesting, thoughtful, and joyous as I am - if not more so. However, I value those people for their individuality, even though there are tons of others like them as well. We people are not all that different, and yet, we value one another as though we were. And that's how it should be.

This weekend we had our dress rehearsal for Treasure Island, the English/Japanese musical :P These things are exhausting but I love them. Here are some of the highlights:
- Costumes: I get to wear this AMAZING costume, since I'm the captain. I adore it and I look awesome :D
- Onstage romance: There are multiple onstage romances, including an unstated one between myself and Mr. Errol. No one ever mentions it - but you can feel the tension ;) Plus, our costumes match. What else does a functional relationship need?
- Mr. Atlas, aka the shipbuilder/Fozzy-the-bear. My co-worker Brent delivers this amazingly ridiculous performance that lights up the whole stage. It's fantastic.
- Our amazing mast/sail. Our director rigged up this fake mast that's essentially a giant slinky with brown fabric sown aroun...
