• Jaws ♦ Im old. I was in the theater to witness the birth of The Summer Blockbuster.
• The Empire Strikes Back ♦ IMHO the best of the Star Wars movies. Defined what a good sequel is. I would have no problem calling this the best sequel ever made.
• The Lord Of The Rings ♦ The perfect storm of practical effects mixed with CGI,filmed back to back to back. We will never in this lifetime see anything on screen that will come even close to the sheer magnifigance of this trilogy.
• The Green Mile ♦ Michael Duncan Clarke should have been nominated for this. He WAS John Coffey.
• Forrest Gump ♦ I am noticing a trend of tears and Tom Hanks.
• The Mist ♦ Another Frank Darabont and Stephen King collab. The ballsiest no hollywood ending in film history.
