• how she puts on face lotion (specifically Oil of Olay) b/c it's how i put on my Oil of Olay now
• her big 70's glasses
• when she taught us to swing dance in the kitchen when we were little
• the way she smiles when she has ONE glass of wine at Thanksgiving
• her horrible choices of lipstick colors
• dry, cracked heels and when she made my dad would file them
• how she always put her feet up on my dad's legs after dinner
• the way she threw slippers/knickknacks at my sister when they fought
• short, permed hair
• the smell when she dyes her hair in the bathroom
• the stained blue shirt she uses when she dyes her hair
• how hard she laughs when my dad makes her laugh
• the smug look on her face when she's being smart
• she used to pick up the phone in her room and tell me what time it was (b/c i was on past my phone curfew) and i would say, thanks big ben
• the way she claps and hoots and hollers while watching/listening to Angels or Lakers games
• her 'professional' voice
