- on that note, the odd mix of an obsession with dicks, and a literal fear of being gay. talk about dicks all the time, draw them, laugh about them, but being interested in them sexually? nah man, no homo bro
- CARSSSSS, you need a big, fast, and expensive car to be a REAL man (on that note: trucks. just, trucks.)
- similarly, the concept of being large. large bodies, large cars, large properties, large dicks. apparently it's manly to take up space.
- aggression/anger in general. just being needlessly violent.
- not showing emotion. emotion is weakness? "are those tears? suck it up, buttercup."
- grilling. so apparently, according to normal gender roles, the woman is supposed to be the cook, but when it comes to grilling, the MAN has to do it. why do men love grills so much. i don't understand.
- the alpha-male mentality. like, "this guy is more of a man than i am, i need to step up my game, or he'll steal my woman/steal my job." ...like are you that insecure
- tools. if you're the man, you gotta know how to fix that door, tune up that car, or rework that machine. now, there's nothing wrong with knowing your way around these things. but why do men feel as if someone is suddenly a lesser person for not knowing them???
- intelligence/superiority. this kind of plays into the alpha-male thing, but i feel it deserves its own entry
