• October 4th: A beautiful boy coming up to me, looking me right in the eyes, giving me a high five and a huge smile and telling me I have beautiful eyes.
• October 5th: Haight District with Nikita & Dustin - sitting on the corner of Haight-Ashbury watching a folk band play.
• October 6th: String Cheese Incident, them playing "This Must Be The Place" as Hanna and I are leaving the set, tearing up and realizing how much I love San Fran.
• October 7th: Renata shouting "JOHNSTONNNN!" at the Ad host meeting // Being so into my Psych article that I can't write a proper reflection on it all.
• October 8th: Having a somewhat personal conversation with Malik at dinner tonight.
• October 9th: Spending the day with Becca at her house, complex, dinner, and LUST. Rainy day but it was actually kind of nice and peaceful.
• October 10th: Eating dinner with Kathryn and ~the guys~, Robert included this time. Glad it was comfortable and chill.
• October 11th: Pulling up into downtown Redlands to go get a salad at the deli, Avery Jake and his friends walking by, & just popping out of the car and saying "sup neighbors! I thought I'd just come and have dinner with you!"
• October 12th: Sitting atop a huge hill that overlooks Berkeley and SF/the bridge in the distance. Beautiful.
• October 13th: A running around the city day. Seeing dogs all over and Becca getting so happy and knowing their breeds.
• October 14th: Falling asleep and waking up to snuggles with Becca.
• October 15th: Seeing Leah Rippe again and catching up outside the library, being able to relax in my room at the end of the day/vacation.
• October 16th: "The U of R is a small liberal arts school in Southern California with about 2 undergraduates, their names are Ronald Mak and Veronica Beman."
• October 17th: Going through all my Bio flashcards with Alex Amelia & Jake P quizzing me, actually focusing but having so much fun & so many funny things said.
• October 18th: Nighttime Java during an open mic, a crowded room with lots of friends laughing & enjoying music and such togethaaa.
• October 19th: Henna on the quad and having a good Kathryn hug // Bekins front porch having wonderful talks with Hanna Becca Nadia and Maggie, then more people joining & loudly singing Disney songs & Hallelujah.
• October 20th: Successful Halloween costume shopping with Jake at Redlands Thrift.
• October 21st: A really nice & social day, Idek. Maybeeee, having an actually fun & clear lab because Stelle taught us instead of our normal lab teacher.

• December 2nd: Browsing Room with Tyler, doodling on the chalkboard and briefly catching up again. // When I walked into Jake's room looking sad, Avery immediately pulled me in to hug them and asked what was wrong. I don't know how I got so lucky to have them.

Augie's productivity by myself, great wrap up in Personality Theories and defending the uniqueness of cows, Matt and Elana rescuing me when I got stung by a bee, Leah's house, sitting in Hanna's room with like eight other people smoking, painting, singing, guitaring, sipping wine, homeworking, and quoting Spongebob. <3

• December 5th: Perfect last Personality Theories class, talking about endings and sentimentality and closure and associations and how we can embrace change or something ending and yeah.

• January 24th: Jumping on a mini trampoline on a rickety balcony with Erik for like twenty minutes while talking about snowboarding and networking and god knows what else, at Jasmine's party off campus sldfjlskdjf
• January 25th: Perfect day in Malibu with Harlin and Hannah and Nadia. Hiking, tidepools, pictures, a pug named Stavvy, Harlin being hilarious. To top it all off, old friends and new friends at the LA Boulders grand opening comp during finals.
• January 26th: Climbing room with Austin and Texas, setting climbs for them, them giving me boy advice, laughing my head off.
• January 27th: Getting that tingly feels-like-you're-flying feeling while meditation after my yoga session today.

• February 4th: Not having to tweak either of my problems today. I think I'm gonna get the hang of this.
• February 5th: Driving back to campus with Jake in the passenger seat, blasting good music while he feeds me McDonald's french fries that we got at the drive thru.
• February 6th: Ending my 20th birthday singing Down in the Valley with the 30ish people left at the end of me & Riley's birthday open mic <3

• February 8th: Forest Falls round two with totally different crew - feeling so good about bonding with my neighbors who just a week ago I was so upset with.
• February 9th: Getting out of Jake's car and running to Austin and Kyle in the quad to play with the didggggg!

• February 11th: Being in Jake and Avery's room with them, Riley, Amelia, Liam, Lewis, and Chris. I just love Holt.
• February 12th: The doctor says I can fucking climb // Simon really helping me study for Neuroscience today and actually feeling like I understand shit!
• February 13th: Rock climbing with people who were working on my problems and working on changing it to making it more doable by working through the moves with them, turning holds, etc.
• February 14th: "Buffalo" chapel yell, fire pits and so much love energy that I can't stop smiling. Renewal and Johnston are beautiful things.
• February 15th: I feel like this was too good of a day to pick just one thing, but...uncovering Johnston past with the woman who painted the mural outside Zach and Benji's door, learning that Lukas did most of the graffiti on 3rd floor, peeling off more of his work in the nook...god, I love it here!
• February 16th: Driving to and from the gym with the windows blasting playing beautiful music. I'm starting to enjoy that here now too; it used to be just a Maryland thing.
• February 17th: Laying in my hammock (tied to the pipes) with Lewis, talking about how if the pipes broke they would burst and flood the hallway, but nobody has the right to judge or discuss my hammock situation, because it's my business, even when we're like kayaking down the hallway. It was funny okay?
• February 18th: Meeting Chris, the traveling nurse who lives in his RV and climbs everywhere, at Thresh Hold, and talking about climbing and people and places and rocks and yay!
• February 19th: Reading about DMT with Jake and laughing for an hour about how he said "grain of rice" and tried to keep reading and ignore it // TYPING ON LEWIS'S TYPEWRITER.
• February 20th: U Club with Leah and Sari, telling stories and talking about sex, etc. xoxo
• February 21st: I think I might have convinced two people to be a buffalo today? I hope so. Being an Ad Host was fun again.
• February 22nd: Running into Sari Harlin Leah Sophie in JTree and finding that they had made wonderful old school rock climbing friends. Getting the big move on High Noon!
• February 23rd: Black Mountain - finally outdoor climbing with Thresh people, spending time in two different beautiful places this weekend.
• February 24th: Passing around a tip box with Tyler at the Ad Host weekly meeting, and then when we were leaving we got to pet a pug :3 :3
• February 25th: Doing a workout & feeling truly tired after climbing for the first time in months.
• February 26th: Group hugs, wall punching, British accents, etc. in the hallways. Love Third FLO

• February 28th: Working with Dan & Alan setting for the comp tomorrow, super cool working with new setters and getting other perspectives and a change of pace.
• March 1st: Comp day, feeling useful and productive and busy and necessary, taking kickass pictures, running around helping, yaaah. I like the Thresh Fam. <3
• March 2nd: Dinner with Bri, Miranda, Alex, Chris, Avery, Tyler, Ian, Slime, Adam, and Ryan at the empty Commons. So much ridiculous laughter. Good spring break dinner group, love Johnston.
• March 3rd: Venting to Bern about route setting stress and him being totally understanding of it.
• March 4th: Sitting in the hall with Chris and Bri and Alex making a new sign for Zach and Benji's door with many more options than their original "chillin/recordin" sign
• March 5th: Leaning out the window of the third floor nook to the beautiful sunny day, simon and garfunkel playing, and Avery coming up to give me a hug from behind.
• March 6th: Getting stoned and watching Wizard of Oz while playing Dark Side of the Moon. Omfg.
