Travel/places to visit
- Visit France
- Take a spontaneous one week road trip with close friends
- Travel around the North and South Island of New Zealand
- See and play in snow
- Go back to Cairns and revisit all my haunts from when I was a little kid
- Visit my friends in America and Canada
- Go on a cruise with friends
- Take solitary day trips once a month to places I've never been before (when I get my license)
- Go to the park or beach at least once a month and relax with a good book
- Find my granddad's grave and leave him flowers. Find out the date of my other Granddad's death and go down the sounds and leave flowers in the ocean.
- Go down the sounds at least once a year
- Take the South Island train as far as it goes.
Self Improvement
- Accept that my hair is never going to be extremely long
- See the positive in every bad situation
- Smile at one stranger everyday
- Walk with my head held high
- Learn to look people in the eyes
- Stop drinking soft drinks
- Go see a chiropractor
- See a skin specialist about my acne
- Bleach my teeth once a fortnight
- Stop saying “yeah” instead of “yes” also stop saying "cool" when there is nothing else to say
- Stop spending all day in my room on the laptop
- Read meaningful books, not just fiction
- Stop being so negative about my body and either accept it or do something about it
- Take interest in the world and read newspapers/watch the news
- Learn a new word everyweek and use it (dictionary.com here I come)
- Stop saying "I can't" to every situation and start thinking "I can try"
- Stop meeting guys on the internet, it's creepy and wrong
- ✔ Socialise more with people in the real world
- Stop wearing so much black and invest in colours
- Get my (NZ) driver's license and stop putting it off
Finances/boring sensible stuff
- Save 2/4 of my pay each week
- Get a second job - a night job (bartending?)
- Have two savings accounts, holidays/trips and house deposit
- Write up a will
- Rent the house out to help pay off mortgage
- Try not to get a credit card again unless to build up credit rating
Health and Fitness
- Learn how to salsa
- Walk a 1 1/2 hour walk 3 times a week every week
- Go on trail walks around the Marlborough area at least once a month
- Learn to ski
- Start doing exercises to tone up my body
- Stop eating so much junk food, start focusing on vegetables
- If offered a new dish (that isn't meat) try it
- Learn pilates or yoga
- Become an early riser. Be out of bed by 7.30 every morning (Go to sleep before 11 pm)
- Drink 2 litres of water a day and Green Tea drinks
- Become fit enough to walk the Queen Charlotte Trail
- Eat a banana once a week (I'm a fruit hater, so challenge!)
Courses/Culture/Movies
- Learn French
- Rent one new release dvd a week
- ✔ Join the local Library
- Learn Italian once I've learned French
- Watch 100 films from IMBD's top 250 films
- Cook one new meal a week for a year
- See a movie once a month at the Cinemas
- Take a bartending/barista course

- Re-read all of the Harry Potter books
- Re-read Diana Gabaldon's series, "Outlander"
- ✔ Re-read the "Twilight" series by Stephanie Meyer
- Read 10 Non-fiction books
- Read 100 fiction novels (choice of more than 100)
- Read a book in French
- Read Jane Austens' books
- Read books on finance e.g. saving, mortgages etc.
Creativity
- Learn how to use all functions on my Camera
- Take a photography course
- Paint at least one picture every 6 months
- Turn photography into postcards and send to friends
- Put photography of trips into Scrapbook
- Write a short story and finish it
- Become proficient in Photoshop
- Make a photobook of my photography on Lulu
Home
- Buy a new wardrobe of clothes eg. staple items
- ✔ Move into a bigger room in the house
- Go to auction/bargain/second hand shops and kit out my room
- Get a pet fish, a siamese fighting fish
- Get some inspiring artwork from (Red Bubble)[www.redbubble.com]
- Regularly go through my things and donate unused things to Charity
Family & Friends
- ✔ Make new friends in New Zealand
- Plan big 21st bash for Australia
- Send friends cards for their birthdays
- Send all friends and family in Australia a monthly update email
- Make more effort to keep in touch with friends and family
Randomness
- ✔ Get a completely different hair cut/style/colour
- Write one blog a week on myspace about anything
- Go swimming in the ocean (it's been years)
- Once a week when I'm home alone play loud music and dance like no one is watching
- Have a child
- Sponsor a child through World Vision
- Get a small, personal tattoo
- ✔ Find a partner who is all that I need and want
- Move into my own place
- Be a flight hostess for a few years
- Have my palm read
- Get my hearing tested again
- Visit my Nana once a fortnight
- Chill out with a book at a cafe with an Iced Coffee once a fortnight
- Cook a treat once a month eg. lolly cake or afghans.
- Watch youtube videos of comedians once a fortnight
