  • Kyle - short haired tuxedo kitty (photo).
    • Kyle and his brother Pea were my first cats after years of traveling with my job.
    • After Pea was killed by a car I tried to make Kyle and indoor kitty but he was miserable so he goes outside part of the day, but never at night.
    • He's a good hunter and leaves presents for me by the back steps.
    • He tolerates the other cats, but doesn't really like them very much, and when stray cats come into the yard he chases them off.
    • He's a good cat and always curls up next to me on the bed.
  • Violet - medium haired all gray kitty.
    • Violet was born under the house across the street, approx 9/2004.
    • I took in Violet and her 2 siblings (Fern and Willow) when they started heading for the street when they wereabout 6-7 weeks old.
    • I found a home for both Fern and Willow, but no one wanted Violet because she was very sick.
    • Now she's my little Violet girl!
    • She was best buds with Pea and she was very, very sad when he died.
    • Violet is an inside kitty but she is harness and leash trained so I take her for walks in the back yard.
    • Violet is my little shadow!
  • Jellybean - very long and thick haired all black kitty.
    • My neighbors found her under their truck one morning, early December, 2005, not long after Pea died.
    • She was very sick, she would not eat and she fell over when she tried to walk (but she never missed the litter box).
    • The vet said she had fatty liver disease.
    • I force fed her a chicken concoction I made myself, and eventually she started eating on her own.
    • Now she's fat and sassy!
  • Toby - linx point kitty with blue eyes, possibly part Siamese.
    • I adopted Toby from the local shelter in December 2005, not long after we found Jellybean in December, 2005.
    • He was supposed to be a playmate for Violet but he never clicked with the other cats, although he loved all the foster kittens we eventually took care of.
    • Toby is a marvelous kitty, very playful and talkative.
    • But he had a big problem with spraying so he's now on Prozac.
    • He hasn't sprayed since day one on the Prozac.
    • The other cats and I are much happier with Toby now!
  • Odie - short haired all black kitty.
    • I adopted Odie from the local humane society.
    • He was my foster kitty and became very ill when he was about 3 months old.
    • I had to take him to the ER and ended up paying for it myself, so I kept him.
    • Odie is very playful and sometimes talkative.
    • He is possibly part Siamese or Oriental becasue he has very short, sleek fur, long legs and a long whip-like tail!
    • He loves all the other cats, although Kyle sometimes smacks him around.
