Desert Island Discs is a BBC Radio 4 programme first broadcast on 29 January 1942. It is one of the longest-running radio programmes in the world.
Each week a famous guest ("castaway") is asked to choose eight pieces of music, a book (in addition to the Bible) and a luxury item for their imaginary stay on the island, while discussing their lives and the reasons for their choices.
My 8 pieces of music to bring to a desert island:
My book of choice:
Lars Saabye Christensen - Beatles
My luxury item:
A life supply of nasal spray
