• What is your current state of mind?
    • Somewhat melancholic and dreamy
  • What do you consider the most overrated virtue?
    • If insensitivity is a virtue (as society makes it out to be)… Oh, and in my opinion, ignorance is not usually bliss.
  • On what occasion do you lie?
    • If it was the lesser of two evils.
  • What do you most dislike about your appearance?
    • I am not too fond of my knobby knees, and somewhat rounded cheeks.
  • Which living person do you most despise?
    • I try not to despise anyone.
  • What is the quality you most like in a man?
    • That’s a hard one! I suppose I value kindness, intellect, wit and imagination above all else, someone who is an old{fashioned} soul. However, freckles, dark hair and a love for the theatre is most certainly welcome.
  • What is the quality you most like in a woman?
    • Much the same as the first, minus physical appearances and personal interests. With women I'm all game.
  • Which words or phrases do you most overuse?
    • "Mildly" as I describe almost everything as such. Or "vive"
  • What or who is the greatest love of your life?
    • Books, art and poetry.
  • When and where were you happiest?
    • I do not have a particular moment of absolute happiness, however the night I was lying in bed and my mother came in and told me ‘the faeries’ had given me a book was particularly memorable. It was a beautiful book about folklore illustrated by Cicely Mary-Barker, and I have never treasured something quite so much.
  • Which talent would you most like to have?
    • Swing dancing, and being able to play the harp.
  • If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
    • I’m rather happy with myself, but perhaps my co-ordination and crippling fear of open heights. Freckles and smaller cheeks would be nice too.
  • What do you consider your greatest achievement?
    • I don’t think I’m old enough to have a greatest achievement as of yet. However, coming second in the state for the Japanese speech contest was rather special, and coming in the top ten for the Somerset writing collage contest was wonderful.
  • If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be?
    • A harp, a book of fairytales, or someone who is good at swing dancing (however, as long as I am not Agrajag, I’m content.)
  • Where would you most like to live?
    • Perhaps in the UK, or Japan. However, Tasmania is wonderful, and like Hogwarts, I would always find a way back.
  • What is your most treasured possession?
    • As previously mentioned, my faerie book, as well as most of my other books, my art materials, and my little music box that plays Greensleeves. I’m very sentimental, I treasure most everything.
  • What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
    • That unrelenting feeling of self-loathing and guilt as you wallow in self-pity and find yourself at a loss, uninterested in doing anything, and feel as though you will never be happy again. Being torn between wanting to talk to someone, and trying to brave it out because you don't want to seem whiney, and then feeling infinitely lonely.
  • What is your favorite occupation?
    • Going for walks around my neighbourhood, reading, and being creative and imaginative. If you mean job, then writer-illustrator.
  • What is your most marked characteristic?
    • Probably my dark eyebrows (I’m naturally blonde, so they’re rather striking. Although currently I’m a redhead, still striking however).
  • What do you most value in your friends?
    • People who are open and accepting of everyone, and are kind and humorous. I’ve already written a whole list for my amazing friends.
  • Who are your favorite writers?
    • I have far too many favourites, Oscar Wilde, Arthur Conan-Doyle, Holly Black, Edgar Allen Poe, Lewis Carroll, J.K Rowling, C.S. Lewis, Victor Hugo, Sylvia Plath, J.M Barrie, Stuart Hill, Christopher Paolini, J.R.R Tolkien. I could go on forever.
  • Who is your hero of fiction?
    • More than likely Peter Pan, Sherlock Holmes and Atticus Finch.
  • Which historical figure do you most identify with?
    • No-one automatically comes to mind, perhaps Stella Miles Franklin, Lewis Carroll or J.M Barrie, because I’m a passionate writer, and I never want to ‘grow up’.
  • Who are your heroes in real life?
    • Lady Jane Grey, J.K Rowling and Loreena McKennit
  • What are your favorite names?
    • Henry, Jude, Pablo, Ambrose, Almond, Leander, Rowan, Claudia, Annalise, Alice, Wendy, Sabine, Aislinn, Luna, and Siobhan.
  • What is it that you most dislike?
    • Uncertainty, and ignorance/prejudice
  • What is your greatest regret?
    • That I didn’t practice piano enough as a child, and that I have not learnt the harp.
  • How would you like to die?
    • Either from natural causes in my sleep (you know I wouldn’t mind doing it Third Star style), or bravely (and hopefully quickly) standing up for what I believe in.
  • What is your motto?
    • I never really thought about it… Either,
      • “Normal is just a setting on washing machines” – anon, or
      • “Reality is not always probable, or likely” – Jorge Luis Borges or
      • “Art in the blood is liable to take the strangest forms” – Arthur Conan Doyle
