Yugyeom was a human once upon a time. His parents didn't really care for him much. It seemed to him like they didn't care what happened to him. They mostly cared for his younger brother. At first dancing was a way he tried to gain their attention, it worked sometimes when he was acknowledged at school or won dance competitions but other than that things remained pretty much the same. After awhile dancing became his passion and he started doing it for himself instead of for his parents.

It was a bleak existence, he won't lie, he wasn't happy to be alive. He often though of ending himself. It wasn't cause he was depressed (or so he says) but merely out of boredom. He knew that sounded wrong but he was bored with his life, his family didn't want him, he couldn't keep friends, and school didn't interest him in the least.
