Yugyeom was a human once upon a time. His parents didn't really care for him much. It seemed to him like they didn't care what happened to him. They mostly cared for his younger brother. At first dancing was a way he tried to gain their attention, it worked sometimes when he was acknowledged at school or won dance competitions but other than that things remained pretty much the same. After awhile dancing became his passion and he started doing it for himself instead of for his parents.

It was a bleak existence, he won't lie, he wasn't happy to be alive. He often though of ending himself. It wasn't cause he was depressed (or so he says) but merely out of boredom. He knew that sounded wrong but he was bored with his life, his family didn't want him, he couldn't keep friends, and school didn't interest him in the least. Basically he didn't see himself getting anywhere in life. Which is way he pretty much was ready to end it all. Then he got a perfect chance. His family wanted to travel and their first spot was Thailand.

He waited till the last day before they left then when they were all sleeping he left only taking a bag with some of his belongings. He knew they really wouldn't bother to look for him. He was quickly proven right as four days had passed by and nothing, so with that he set out. Somehow he found a beach with rocky edges, he had sat there for a quite awhile.

When night fell he had already prepared himself and was ready when. "Don't." That made him nearly jump out of his skin as he turned, he recognized the language the other was speaking as Thai. Of course he didn't understand him, they just sat together for some time. He didn't know what it was but even though they didn't speak the same language there was an instant connection they had felt. Years went by and Yugyeom slowly picked up Thai, now that they could communicate Bambam spoke to him of his past and Yugyeom did the same. They were inseparable.

As the years grew on however both of them noticed the toll it was starting to take on Bambam, the vampire was selfish and didn't want to lose his friend after he had lost everyone. Yugyeom on the other hand didn't want to leave Bam. He felt a connection with the vampire he had never felt with anyone else, that's why even though Bambam was highly against it at one point he somehow persuaded the vampire to turn him. You could say Yugyeom is a bit possessive of Bambam but he always swore it was out of love. He adored the vampire and thanked him with every fiber of his soul, he knew he owed everything to the other and he wanted Bam to know he accepted and appreciated that.

Bambam was all he had. And wherever the other went he followed.
