- they love curry, they have curry sausage, curry ketchup, curry chips - everything!
- they eat with fork an spoon in the chinese restaurants (instead of fork and knife)
- you can't go shopping in sundays. not even food. everything is closed.
- the trash system sucks. they store their trash for 2 weeks and then throw everything on the street.
- they have differnet grades of fizzy drinks. if you ask for water without bubbles, be prepared to be served water with a little fuzz (still tastes horrible), for some reason tap water isn't an alternative.
- The grocery stores is open to midnight but if you shop later than 18:00 the milk, cheese, bread, fruits and vegetables will already be sold out. everything has to be fresh because they don't use preservative.
- they love cherry more than strawberries. You'll find cherry jam, cherry candy, cherry sauce, cherry quark and more.
- they don't like salt.
- there is no such thing as free ketchup at mcdonalds.
- many uses mayonaise instead of ketchup for their fries.
- all the homeless are sitting begging for money instead of collect return cans and bottles.
- they have switched x and y on the keybords. O_O
- all the dogs are so nice here. they don't bark, they don't disturb strangers and they don't even need a collar.
- the open air cafés/pavement cafés are open all year, and people actually use them all year :)
- there is no Metro here.
- About half of the Germans speaks english as a second language.
- Germans are always up to something fun ^^
- they have the coolest and craziest bikes ever invented!
- There are hardly any wild animals here. Only birds.
