- Try new coiffures/looks involving scarves, hoods, hats and sunglasses. Current coiffure: pull back hair, wrap scarf/bandana around head to keep stray hairs out of face, don gigantic Oliver Peoples sunglasses, flip hoodie up and apply lip gloss.
- Road said new "looks" while doing basic things such picking up bandages from the drugstore, taking out the trash, coffee runs, etc. Shoot for "Olson twin avoiding paparazzi" attitude. (Note to self: get ahold of a giant Starbucks cup)
- Try to decide between Johnson's sheer or flexible fabric bandages. The the adhesive on sheer bandages are a little less rough on the skin, but the color of the flexible fabric blends in better with the skin. For fun, use novelty Marc Jacobs bandaids with kitchy prints and slogans.
- Arrange bandages on skin in as decorative a manner as possible. Whorls, spirals an...

- Worrying about Freddy Kreuger-like scars
- General pain, discomfort, itching and lack of mobility. Heat and sun seems to aggravate the discomfort.
- Being unable to go to swim practice or yoga class. Usually, when I'm stressed or anxious, I exercise or clean or cook. I haven't felt much like cooking until yesterday and went back to yoga a couple of days ago. Hopefully, I'll be able to swim tomorrow. Luckily, I had just cleaned the entire house when I burned myself.
- I haven't been able to exfoliate or moisturize my face for a week. It feels simultaneously flaky, greasy, dirty and itchy. I'm not generally prone to breakouts, but with my luck, I probably will. Yuck. At this point, I'm with gonna need a facial, but who knows when I'll be able to get one.
- I need a brow wax really badly, but won't...

- Mayonnaise - freshly made is okay, but that stuff that comes in a jar is snot of the devil.
- Honey Walnut Prawns - whenever I go out for Chinese with others, they also seem to want to order this dish. I think it's just foul and I think it must have mayonnaise in it.
- Donuts - I like beignets and fresh Krispy Kremes, but otherwise, they're just too much.
- Tripe - I really should like tripe. I've sampled a fairly wide variety of offal - liver, gizzards, sweetbreads, kidneys, tendons, tongue, etc., and liked it, but as much as I've tried, I just can't get into tripe.
- Corn dogs - I love hot dogs, and I like cornbread, but I think I must have o.d.ed on corndogs in my school cafeteria.

- "Fun" is a weeklong "business" trip to Paris in April with your fuckbuddy. "Not fun" is researching IRS tax codes for nonprofit business associations.
- My coworker asked me what we should treat ourselves to for Secretaries' Day. My immediate reaction was "chocolate!" But then I wondered are you "treating" yourself to it if you have it every day?
- It takes the federal government exactly 10 days to cash your tax check, but approximately a month and a half to issue a return. WTF????

- dropped a pot of molten sugar into the mixer, splashing it onto my face and arms. Second degree burns, yay!
- walked into a plate glass door
- spilled hot tea on myself, leaving a meandering 2nd degree burn all over my wrist and hand (healing nicely now)
- picked at a hangnail on my thumb and wound up peeling half the skin off the whole finger.
- slipped on the BART grates in the rain (damn chuck taylors) while rushing to the gym and landed flat on my back. (luckily, my ass absorbed the brunt of the fall)
- fooled around with hot beeswax (for a baking project) and accidently sprayed it all over the kitchen
