- The marble game. In my mind, I take different marbles and roll them down a curved track until they reach the bottom.
- Star Trek aliens. I come up with alien species from Star Trek: Voyager for each letter of the alphabet and go over what I know about each species.
- Down by the bay. I mentally recite the song to come up with the most unusual combinations of rhymes.
- Lyrics. I go over the lyrics to songs I know; the songs with multiple verses work best.
- Alprazolam. If nothing else works, I go for the medication.
