They have scraped knees covered by colorful bandaids. Their abdomen and stomach, down to their hips, is covered in scars. They tend to hide them with their sweater and apron, and more bandaids. They dont like looking at the scars, so the bandaids haven't changed in a long while. They look old.

the kindness soul doesn't remember much of their past, due to repressed memories before the age of 7. they used to have parents, a home, but lost it all due to an accident. they were taken to an orphanage, where they stayed and made some friends. those of which wouldn't harass or bother them. one being the most important, the SOUL the monsters referred to as "Justice." in this orphanage, the staff weren't very attentive. usually, mia would be the one to sneak into the kitchen to prepare atleast some food for the other children. they weren't very good at it, they were only a child and could only make the simplest of plates just by watching the staff cook. their fingers would get burned a lot, but as they got better, that didn't happen as much.

it was a lucky thing they didn't get seriously hurt in that jump. they were already pretty injured, but the flowerbed had broken the fall. they had met flowey, and was unfortunately tricked by him. at first. after toriel intervened, she patched them up from their wounds. they finally healed after a day or two! and, thankfully, they were right: monsters were actually kind. but they couldn't stay. after they spoke to toriel about the barrier and the war between the monsters and the humans, they could do nothing but think about how they needed to help. their only plan was to make it to the king, by any means necessary. but toriel never mentioned that human SOULs were required to break the barrier. she only mentioned it was dangerous. was she trying to protect them? did she assume they wouldn't leave?
